These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of vasilicatravels.com and any booking made through VASILICA DA B.V. (“VASILICA DA,” “we,” “us”), a company registered in the Netherlands. By using this website, calling our reservation line, or completing a booking, you agree to these Terms.
VASILICA DA is an independent online travel agency. We arrange flight bookings on your behalf with third-party airlines and, where applicable, ground transport and hotel suppliers (“Suppliers”). We are not the Supplier of the flight itself. Your contract of carriage is with the airline, and the airline’s own conditions of carriage, fare rules, and baggage policy govern your flight, including boarding requirements, schedule changes, and onboard conduct.
Where a flight is booked together with linked services such as a hotel or car hire, the arrangement may qualify as a “linked travel arrangement” under the EU Package Travel Directive (EU) 2015/2302. We will tell you clearly, before you pay, whether the services you are booking form a package, a linked travel arrangement, or separate, standalone bookings, and what protection applies in each case.
We may charge a disclosed service fee for booking assistance, date changes, or cancellation processing. Service fees are quoted to you in Euros before being charged, are separate from airline fare rules and penalties, and are non-refundable once the service has been performed, except as required by law.
Full payment is generally required at the time of booking for ticket issuance. Failure to complete payment before the airline’s ticketing deadline may result in automatic cancellation of your reservation under the Supplier’s own policy.
Cancellations, date changes and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy and by the fare rules of the airline you booked. Many discounted and promotional fares are non-refundable and carry change fees; this will be disclosed to you before booking. Because flight bookings are for services performed on a specific date, they are exempt from the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU once your booking is confirmed.
If your flight departs from an EU airport, or arrives in the EU on an EU-based airline, and is significantly delayed, cancelled, or you are denied boarding, you may be entitled to assistance and compensation directly from the operating airline under EU Regulation (EC) 261/2004. This is separate from, and in addition to, any refund of our service fee. We can advise on how to submit a claim to the airline, though the airline is responsible for assessing and paying any compensation due.
You are responsible for holding a valid passport or ID card and any visas, health documentation, or entry requirements applicable to your itinerary. We can advise on general requirements but do not guarantee entry into any country or boarding of any flight; final admission and boarding decisions rest with government authorities and the airline.
We recommend optional travel protection to cover trip cancellation, interruption, medical expenses and baggage. Travel protection plans are underwritten by third-party insurers and are subject to their own terms, exclusions and claim procedures.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VASILICA DA acts only as a booking agent and is not liable for the acts, omissions, delays, cancellations, schedule changes, or service failures of any Supplier, including airlines, ground transport, or hotel operators. Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory right you may have against the airline directly, including under EU Regulation (EC) 261/2004. Our liability for any claim relating to our own booking service is limited to the service fees we charged for that booking.
You agree not to misuse this website, including submitting false booking information, attempting to access other users’ data, or interfering with site security. Content on this site, including text, graphics and the VASILICA DA name and logo, is owned by us or licensed to us and may not be copied without permission.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection law of your country of residence within the European Union that may also apply. Disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law.
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the website or booking of new travel after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
