This Privacy Policy explains how VASILICA DA B.V. (“VASILICA DA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operator of vasilicatravels.com and registered in the Netherlands, collects, uses, discloses and protects information when you visit our website, call us, or make a booking through us. VASILICA DA is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy, within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”).

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you provide

• Contact details: name, phone number, email address, mailing address
• Travel details: origin and destination airports, travel dates, cabin preferences, number of passengers
• Booking and payment details: passport or ID information where required for international travel, billing address, and payment card details, processed via our payment provider
• Frequent flyer numbers and known traveler numbers, where provided
• Communications: call recordings, chat transcripts, and emails you send us

1.2 Information collected automatically

• Device and browser type, IP address, and approximate location
• Pages visited, links clicked, referring website, and time spent on site
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 5)

2. Legal basis and purposes for processing

• Performance of a contract — to search fares, quote pricing, complete flight bookings, and communicate about your reservation, including confirmations, date changes and cancellations
• Legitimate interests — to provide customer support, improve our website and search tools, and detect and prevent fraud
• Consent — to send marketing offers and fare alerts, and to set non-essential cookies; you may withdraw consent at any time
• Legal obligation — to comply with airline, aviation security, tax and other regulatory reporting requirements

3. How we share information

We share information with airlines, ground transport and hotel suppliers as needed to fulfill your booking; with payment processors to complete transactions; with service providers who support our call center, website hosting and analytics; and with government, customs or airport authorities where required for travel documentation and security screening. We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. International data transfers

Some of the suppliers and service providers described above are located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including airlines and airport authorities in the destination country of your booking. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, an adequacy decision, or another lawful transfer mechanism recognized under the GDPR.

5. Cookies and advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies to remember your search preferences, measure site performance, and show relevant ads on other websites, including through Google Ads and other advertising networks. Non-essential cookies are only set with your consent, given through the cookie banner shown on your first visit; you can withdraw consent or manage preferences at any time through your browser settings or our cookie preference tool.

6. Data retention

We retain booking and communication records for as long as needed to service your reservation, satisfy accounting and legal requirements (typically up to 7 years for financial records under Dutch law), and resolve disputes, after which records are deleted or anonymized.
